📌 Taste:

Dense, rich, and confident. The classic profile of shu pu-erh: moist earth, dark wood, cocoa, and roasted nuts. The body is thick and oily, without harsh bitterness. The flavor is concentrated and deep, with a warm, lingering finish.

📌 Aroma:

Woody and earthy, warm and rich. Notes of damp woods, cocoa beans, dark chocolate, and light spice. As it warms, a soft sweetness and nutty depth emerge.

Warms, grounds, and provides stable energy. Perfect for a quiet, thoughtful tea party, as well as after a meal. Comfortable, without heaviness.

Yunnan large leaf tea

(Camellia sinensis var. assamica)

Shu pu-erh (ripe / fermented).

Yunnan Province, China.

📌 Format:

Pressed pancake 357 g - classic format for storage and aging.

📌 Brewing method:

Gongfu (gaiwan/teapot 100-150 ml):

1️⃣ Proportion: 6-8 g per 100 ml

2️⃣ Water: 95-98 °C

3️⃣ Rinse: 1-2 short rinses for 5-10 seconds

4️⃣ Spills: start with 8-12 seconds, gradually increasing

5️⃣ Withstands 8-12 washes

📌 Tips:

Can be brewed more strongly for maximum depth of flavor. It develops well in a clay pot and is suitable for everyday tea drinking.
