The Bing Dao (冰岛) region of Yunnan, China is one of the most renowned terroirs for its soft, sweet and clean sheng pu'er profile.

📌 Format:

📌 Brewing method:

Gongfu (gaiwan/teapot 100-150 ml):

  1. Proportion: 4-6 g per 100 ml

  2. Water: 85-90 °C

  3. Rinse: 1 quick rinse 5-8 seconds

  4. Spills: start with 5-7 seconds, increase gradually

  5. Withstands 8-10 washes

📌 Tips:

Use cooler water to bring out the sweetness and floral notes. Let the tea steep for 10-15 minutes before steeping.
